Really, I have to Trust?

Israel witnessed God’s mighty hand upon their lives first hand yet when they found themselves in the wilderness without water, they tested Him saying, “Is the Lord among us or not!” (Ex 17:7) Instead of remembering God’s power and intervention in the past; they forgot, minimized and dismissed God’s faithfulness. They challenged God to perform a miracle and if God did, they would then believe and follow Him. We cannot fall into the same trap of testing God’s power and faithfulness. Don’t let the present frighten you…look in the past at God’s faithfulness and to the future of God’s promises! He will be faithful to overcome all the famine, fear and failure of our today's. God doesn’t need to be questioned or tested…just trusted!
